High-achieving students pursuing graduate studies at the University of Melbourne are eligible for this scholarship.

We come from many places to call Melbourne home, like the inner cities, the Kimberley, and more than 140 other countries.

Everyone has distinct interests and goals. Some of us want to travel to other planets, while others seek to preserve what is valuable on Earth. Some of us are inspired to forge new paths in sport or to create new realms in the arts. We realize that we can only change what is feasible together, and that is the one thing we all have in common.

Because of this, our community provides a wide range of scholarships. Here are some suggestions to help you start your search.

About Melbourne University

Melbourne, Australia, is home to the public research institution known as the University of Melbourne. It was established in 1853, making it Victoria’s first university and the second-oldest in all of Australia.

The main campus of Melbourne is situated in Parkville, an inner area to the north of the Melbourne CBD, and there are several satellite campuses spread out around Victoria. Members of the Group of Eight, Universitas 21, and the Association of Pacific Rim Universities include Melbourne University, which is built of sandstone.

The university has partnered with a number of residential colleges since 1872. There are ten colleges offering academic, athletic, and cultural programs as well as housing for Melbourne students and professors, both on the main campus and in the neighboring suburbs.

The University of Melbourne wants to be a place where everyone is valued and respected, where everyone has equal access to opportunities, and where everyone is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Our goal is to create a vibrant, just, and varied university community that collaborates in a respectful manner to improve both the lives of its members and the lives of the wider community.

You will be kept up to date on diversity and inclusion efforts taking place across the university in this section.
