Global Scholar's Program for Undergraduate Students 2023 in Drexel University

The Drexel Global Scholars program honors a select group of incoming international students who have excelled academically and have a strong commitment to global leadership and community building.

Participants are strongly encouraged to take part in a valuable peer-to-peer mentoring program, chances to improve their leadership skills, team-building activities, and community service.

Drexel University offers merit-based and association-based undergraduate scholarships for deserving students. The vast majority of scholarships are awarded when a student begins full-time studies at Drexel.

They are applied to all class terms (unless otherwise noted) as long as they remain full-time students and maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA each academic year. Co-op terms are not eligible for scholarships.

The sum of a student’s financial aid cannot exceed the cost of attendance at the university. Grants, scholarships, loans, work-study, and scholarships from private organizations are among the awards that make up a financial aid package.

Drexel reserves the right to change financial aid awards and packages at any time to make sure they meet all institutional, state, and federal standards.

About Drexel University

A private research university, Drexel University has its main campus in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Anthony J. Drexel, a billionaire and philanthropist, established Drexel’s undergraduate institution in 1891.

It was once known as the Drexel Institute of Art, Science, and Industry before changing its name to the Drexel Institute of Technology in 1936. Its current name was given to the institution in 1970.

As of 2020, more than 24,000 students were enrolled in the university’s more than 100 master’s, doctoral, and professional programs, in addition to more than 70 undergraduate programs. The cooperative education program (co-op) is an important part of Drexel’s degree programs.
